Stand Up

This is a shout out to my awesome parents.

Last week or so I woke up and asked my parents how church was. They told me that I wouldn't have wanted to be there and also told me that they walked out in the middle of church. Apparently the Priest was going off on the subject of gay marriage and how its wrong and suggesting that gays are sinners. So my parents took offense to it (AS THEY SHOULD!) and walked out of church!

Worlds best parents right there. Standing up for what they believe in! Love them!

Amish Life

So for the past week or so I have been living the life of a Amish person. Okay, not really, I just deleted my Facebook. So basically that makes me Amish to the world. For the first couple days it was difficult not to know everyone's business, for everybody not to be aware when I'm going to work, or know how sexy I think Ryan Gosling is. But for these couple weeks I have been doing good.

I felt a sense of freedom in a sense that people don't make judgements on me or think they know me because of what my Facebook page says. I would like people to befriend me by getting to know me in person. I'm not so antisocial where I need a Facebook to communicate and share my interests. Also, I can concentrate in class much much more.

Anyways, I just wanted to let the universe know that I have not vanished, I just deactivated Facebook. I don't plan on returning in the near future. I am happy with the better things in life.
